On July 12, Wang Baojun, Director of the Office of Guangxi Federation of Taiwan Compatriots, along with young students from 10 Taiwan schools, including I-Shou University, and over 30 representatives from Taiwan businesses residing in Guangxi, carried out activities related to innovation, entrepreneurship, and cultural exchange. The vice president of our college, Li Dongsheng, attended the activities and delivered a speech. The heads of the relevant functional departments of our college and 25 student representatives participated in the activities.

At the communication symposium, Li warmly welcomed the arrival of the Taiwan youth friends in attendance and provided an introduction to our college's basic information and the situation of college students' innovation and entrepreneurship. He hoped that the young friends present would become bridges and links for cross-strait youth communication and share what they see and hear in Guangxi as well as their ideas about Guangxi with more Taiwan friends to help them have a better understanding of the mainland, strengthen exchanges and mutual learning to achieve common growth between youth from mainland and Taiwan, and gather unified youthful energy for striving. Wang Baojun provided an overview of the activities conducted during the summer camp and expressed gratitude for the meticulous arrangements made by our college. He encouraged young people from Taiwan to come to the Chinese mainland to communicate, learn, and personally experience the rapid development of China, fully tap into the high-quality resources of both Guangxi and Taiwan, enhance their confidence in starting businesses in Guangxi, establish closer connections with young people in Guangxi, and work together with them to pursue the dream of entrepreneurship. Professor Liang Zhoufu, a Taiwan professor teaching at Nanning Normal University, and Lin Dawei, Vice Chairman of the Nanning Association of Taiwan Enterprises, together with two representative students from our college who have excelled in entrepreneurship, shared their entrepreneurial experiences and insights.

The Taiwan campers also visited the youth cultural exchange, innovation, and entrepreneurship base for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan of the United Front Work Department of the college's Central Party Committee, the master studio of the School of Art Design, Zhuang's Brocade Research Institute, Nanning Craftsman College, and the advanced manufacturing training base of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing. They personally experienced traditional Chinese cultural activities such as paper cutting, which deepened their understanding of traditional Chinese ethnic craftsmanship.

According to reports, the Summer Camp was hosted by the All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots. It has been held for 20 consecutive sessions, with over 20,000 young Taiwan compatriots coming to the mainland to have exchanges and learn. Our college has relied on the Guangxi-Hong Kong Modern Vocational Education Development Center and the youth cultural exchange, innovation, and entrepreneurship base for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan of the United Front Work Department of the college's Central Party Committee to carry out more than 40 series of youth exchange activities between Guangxi and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, building a bridge for communication and interaction between young people from Guangxi and the other three places. This event marks the second visit by the campers to our college for exchanges.
