On May 15, a delegation of 10 led by Pan Yongzhong, Vice Chairman of the Nanning Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Chairman of the Nanning Municipal Committee of China Democratic League, visited our college to investigate the internationalization of vocational education. Yang Qingyuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of our college, accompanied them for the investigation.

At the symposium, Yang Qingyuan extended warm welcome to the delegation and made a report on the characteristic practices, outstanding achievements as well as problems and bottlenecks in carrying out international school-running from five aspects including introducing and integrating international high-quality educational resources, actively serving the "going global" strategy for enterprises, building a sound internationalized education system, establishing new platforms for international exchanges, and carrying out in-depth people-to-people exchanges between China and foreign countries.

Pan Yongzhong fully recognized the achievements made in the internationalization of vocational education in recent years, and pointed out that our college has excellent conditions and outstanding characteristics for school-running and our development has attracted great attention from all sectors of society. Pan also said that the international development of colleges is not only an inevitable requirement to implement the "Double High-levels Plan", but also a basic prerequisite for deepening vocational education reform and gearing to international standards. He expressed his hope that our college could strengthen and expand its ability, level and scale of international school-running.
